Adjectives and Adverbs

Adjectives and adverbs are often confusing. The student will learn to identify adjectives as well as the nouns that they describe. Articles and proper adjectives are introduced. After reviewing adverbs and what they describe, the student will practice distinguishing between an adjective and an adverb. Comparisons using adjectives and adverbs are covered, and the often-misused special forms for good and bad are examined.
