Overview

Students learn a new term, auxiliary. Students practice finding the complete verb, along with its auxiliaries. They review linking verbs, predicate nouns, and predicate adjectives, the principal parts of verbs, and the simple, perfect, and progressive tenses of verbs. Active and passive voice is also covered, and students are introduced to the indicative and the imperative moods in writing.
