Overview

Students will review the principal parts of verbs and the use of auxiliaries to form a complete verb. Verb tenses are also reviewed. Voice (active and passive) and mood (indicative, imperative, and subjunctive) are studied. 

What you can expect to learn

  • Recognize and correctly form the three principal parts of common and irregular verbs. 
  • Identify auxiliaries as part of the complete verb. 
  • Differentiate among the simple, perfect, and progressive verb tenses. 
  • Recognize active and passive voice. 
  • Recognize indicative, imperative, and subjunctive moods.
