Overview

Students will continue to work with personal and possessive pronouns and review their use as subjects and objects. Several categories of pronouns are added: students will learn to identify reflexive, intensive, interrogative, demonstrative, and indefinite pronouns. Pronoun-antecedent agreement is also reviewed.

  • Identify and use possessive pronouns.
  • Identify pronouns used as subjects, direct objects, indirect objects, or objects of a preposition. 
  • Identify and use reflexive and intensive pronouns and their antecedents.
  • Identify and use interrogative and demonstrative pronouns.
  • Differentiate demonstrative pronouns and adjectives.
  • Identify and use singular and plural indefinite pronouns.
