Overview

Students review independent and dependent clauses and apply their knowledge to the identification of sentence structures as simple, compound, complex, or compound-complex. Adjective and adverb clauses are introduced, with a focus on identifying introductory words such as subordinating conjunctions, relative adverbs, and relative pronouns.
