English 5 Overview

English 5 (3rd edition) builds upon the foundation laid in earlier books to cement an understanding of grammar and usage, as well as to foster an appreciation of language as a gift from God.  Students refine their understanding of the basic parts of speech while learning more advanced concepts. Verb tense is expanded to include perfect tenses, and new types and uses of prepositions are introduced. Complex sentence structures are added to simple and compound, and understanding of sentence structure is exercised through diagramming and sentence pattern identification.

Other Terms:

This Terms of Service Agreement is governed in all respects by the laws of the State of South Carolina, USA. In the event of any dispute related to this Agreement, the parties will attempt resolution pursuant to biblical principles utilizing negotiation and mediation. If this is unsuccessful for any reason, disputes arising hereunder shall be submitted to state or federal courts in Greenville, South Carolina, and you agree to and consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of such courts.

If any aspect of this agreement is deemed invalid, then the remaining provisions shall still be enforced.

You may not assign or transfer this Agreement or any of your rights or obligations hereunder, and any attempt to the contrary is void.

BJU Press is not responsible for any delay or failure in performance resulting directly or indirectly from causes beyond BJU Press's reasonable control.

International Use:

If you are not a resident of the United States of America, then you agree to follow all applicable laws and local rules regarding the transmission of data from the United States or the country in which you live.
